Beautiful Cook Islands Weddings is a new travel consultancy service specializing in providing all types of holidays throughout the South Pacific Islands. Cook Islands weddings can be arranged on both Rarotonga and Aitutaki, with ceremonies held either on the beach or at one of the islnds many beautiful churches. Most resorts offer weddings with packages including a minister or celebrant, assistance in obtaining a marriage license, flowers and leis, champagne and a candle lit dinner. Cook Islands Wedding Information A license is required to marry in the Cook Islands. These are obtainable from the Registrar of Marriages at Avarua on Rarotonga and take 3 days to process. Applications must be made in person and cannot be prearranged from your home country. Licenses cost $56 for a registrar marriage or $23 for church ministers. If a license is required in less than 3 days, an additional fee of $NZ45 will be required. Marriage certificates cost a further $12.
